I have been playing around with Flickr for about an hour and a half and I am having a ton of fun!
This photo was taken at the end of the summer 2007. A bunch of us took the train and got off at the Spencer Glacier whistlestop to hike up to the glacier. We thought we would have several hours to hike around but by the time all the delays and rafting stuff (a commercial outfit with ties to the railroad board of directors) was finished we only had about 40 minutes to look around.
There were several signposts with dates on them showing the retreat of the glacier. It was neat.

Hi Heather
What a great picture. I have to admit that I haven't had a whole lot of reasons to use Flickr, not being a big picture taker :-) I do enjoy using the flickr tools at Big Huge Labs and flickrstorm is a great tool for educators.
