Week 1 #1 and 2

I am pretty excited about some of the activities that we will be doing. I have played around some on my own and I usually get so far then become frustrated and give up. It will be nice to have local, people resources to help with all those funky little things that have to be done to get this stuff to work!

The 7.5 Habits of Lifelong Learners was interesting. I guess the easiest thing for me is habit number 1. I love taking classes and reading books to learn new things. The hardest thing for me is the follow through, doing something with what I have learned. I guess that would fit in best with habit number 7, Teach/Mentor others. I really would like to get students involved with the library using different Web 2.0 tools and I haven't really made much progress with it on my own so hopefully this class will help.
