Well I have a blog. It wouldn't keep the template that I chose but that is okay. I'm a little self-conscious about the whole blog thing. I know the rest of the activities are going to be great but writing out stuff has never been my strong point.
The avatar was fun. I like how I can go to the avatar page and change things and it will automatically change on the blog. I can change my avatar to fit my mood.

I know that I have to have a very specific reason for blogging before I can make myself do it. Otherwise, who wants to hear my ramblings??? I was thinking one time of doing a beading blog because that is one of my passions, but I decided I would rather bead than write about it :-)
Try out the TekTek avatars too. They are more cartoon/anime like and you can really punk out.

I agree making the avatar was fun. Changing your avatar to fit your mood would be fun also. I think this would be a fun activity to do with your students maybe as an icebreaker on the 1st day of school.
