Week 9 #20

TeacherTube can be totally useful, like Atomic Learning there is something on just about everything in here and between the two most people should be able to become familiar with tons of different things.

I found one on using software called Inspiration that allows teachers to set up something similar to a webquest. Video, images, sounds, websites can all be added along with questions. It is kind of the digital version of a worksheet but so much more modern. The students can answer the questions right on the digital page and then print it out and hand it in. I was thinking this same sort of activity could be created using a wiki or even a blog. Then the whole thing would be digital. It would take a little tweaking to get it right but it would be very cool. Here is the video from TeacherTube:



In the library, there are all kinds of library related videos that could be embedded on a library web page. The Boolean Operator one, there are a couple on Fair Use that are fun ( Fair(y) Use Tale ) and many others.
