Week 5 #12

I wanted to use this last year with the Battle of the Books students. I uploaded the cover pictures of all the books and I wanted to have the students create avatars and talk about each book. I couldn't figure out how to add more identities though. Then things got busy and I forgot all about it. I figured it out now, I think they must have changed it a little because I can't believe that I missed how to do this, its so easy! I am going to try again this year. So these are just a couple of pictures that I found on my home computer, I hope the rest of our bulletin board pictures are on my computer at school! We had some good ones, snowman tanning at the beach for Spring Break with puddles under his chair, snowman bully with an ice cream scoop, ect. I'm thinking about showing this to the staff and then asking our PTSA to purchase the school wide access. I will see what the staff reaction is in the fall.

The school price on the educational voice thread site is not unreasonable and allows you to avoid the problem one of the tech coordinators had when he added identities under his account and the kids all had the same editing privileges that he did. One of them inadvertently deleted the whole voicethread they were working on!
